Andy Granatelli Comes to the Museum

October 13–Mr. 500 Andy Granatelli, An Afternoon with Andy-On Saturday, October 13th, 2007, the Central Coast enjoyed the magic of Mr. 500, Andy Granatelli at the Museum. The list of accomplishments for Mr. Granatelli includes Knighthood and 22 Halls of Fame in 12 different categories.
It was an unique opportunity to be with a Racing Legend in an intimate setting where we learned all about Andy’s past: race car driver, engine builder, Studebaker Days, STP, Indianapolis, Daytona, and so much more. He is a great storyteller. Following the discussion, Jim Naylor of Ventura Raceway
presented Mr. Granatelli with the 5th Annual Murphy Auto Museum “Automotive Personality of the Year Award.”
